About Connective Visions
For all our differences, we have similarities. For all our similarities, we have differences.
Obvious? This standard truth is the most forgotten element of almost every friendship, romantic relationship, merger of organizations, or alliance between nations.
It’s what makes the to-and-fro of dialogue absolutely essential.
The key to Connective Visions is your readership (and, eventually, viewership) and response. Think of it as a body of water: I put in one drop, and it ripples. Your comment is another drop, widening the ripples. In this way we reach wider and wider, intersecting with one another and pulling apart.
If you are new to following and/or commenting on a blog, here are a few details:
- You can find out when new entries are posted by subscribing to the Entries RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed. When you click on it, it will ask you if you want to add this blog to your home page. Doing so makes it easy to find out when new entries are posted.
- You can find out when new comments to the entries are posted by subscribing to the Comments RSS feed.
- You add your own comment by clicking on the responses tag at the top right of the particular blog post. You can choose any name you want for your name, but your email address has to be a valid one. Your email address is never posted. The reason you’re required to give one is to cut down on spam.
- You won’t receive emails from me unless I already know you and email you as a friend, I am responding to your request for information, or I add a newsletter and ask you to sign up for it, and you decide to do so.
All photos and writing are my own, public domain shots available through various services, or materials friends have willingly and freely shared (in which case, they’re credited). As the site develops, so will the information for sources.
That should get you off to a good start….
